Does child support include childcare, camp out of network medical and phone bill expenses for kids?

Q: I cover the cost of childcare, camp, health insurance, co-pay on medical, and phone bill for our children. I am a single father and she is married. We share 50/50 phyiscal and legal custody and make almost the same income. She is seeking child support. I too filed for support but all I am asking is that we split the areas listed above. I do not want anything else. I tried asking the mother of my kids with assistance but she ignores all communication. With us making almost the same income is this a reasonable request? When we were together we shared in the cost of these things, since breaking up she has decided she will not longer assist.

A: Generally child care – which includes summer camp – as well as unreimbursed medical expenses are add-ons to the basic amount of child support. Phone expenses are usually not includible as an add-on to support. Schedule a consult with a Bronx Child Support Attorney for a full assessment.
