Can my friend that is illegal file a restraining order?

Q: My friend is being harassed by his ex-girlfriend, who has old intimate videos of him from when they were together. She’s now asking him for money and threatening him. He has proof, including messages she sent to me about him. He wants this to stop but is scared he might get deported. What can he do?

A: His undocumented status cannot be inquired of by the Court.
