Q– Have a court order that non-custodial parent Must provide health insurance for the children if he is eligible for it from his employer. Non-custodial parent is not being transparent to me or telling me either way, upon, despite my request, to divulge either way whether insurance through his employer is available to him. Currently have a Medical support order from the court but he has now switch jobs and the original Medical support order contain health insurance coverage information/documentation that is now obsolete.
A– Sure – it makes sense to e-mail the non-custodial parent under such circumstances. Ask nice the first time – if there’s no response, then your 2d e-mail can be mor stern & state that if s/he doesn’t provide the information, you may need to go back to Court on the issue.
