Can I take my child mother for child support being that she did what she did for money ?

Q: Ok well apparently my child’s mother took me for child support but the case is closed because she did it all for the money now how can I take her for child support being that she missed court and that she only did what she did for money how can I fix my issue?

A: You would only be able to put in a claim for child support if the child’s residing primarily with you. If that’s not the case & you’d like to change the arrangement, you’d need to file a custody petition. Schedule a consult with a Bronx Child Support Attorney for a full assessment.
