Q: I haven't worked during the course of our marriage because I'm disable and waiting for my disability. He wants me out.. I have no income or family. What are my rights? We've been married 6 1/2 years
Q: I have 2 daughters that will be graduating high school within the next 2 years. One is 16 and the other is 17 years old and we live in Westchester, NY. Do I need to go back to court to extend child support or does it happen automatically? Thanks
Q: Just put my child's father on child support A: Not necessarily. For instance, if the Father signed the Acknowledgement of Paternity (allowing his name to be on the birth certificate), then the Father is not automatically granted a DNA test. Further, this is usually something a party must request - it's not something automatically done by the Court. Schedule a consult with a Bronx Child Support attorney for a full assessment.

Q: My mother new boyfriend of only 2-3 months locked me out my own house, would not let myself and my daughter in. I needed help form the proper authorities to get in as he tried to legally evict me while my mother let it happen. He does not pay rent been there over over 30 days, I understand he has "squatters rights". I contribute to the house bills as will. I do not feel safe living there with my daughter. My mom is on her BF side, she can take me to court if she wants that is fine. In the process would like to protect my self do to an recent incident that occurred between me and the boyfriend. I am a resident of 25 years in my home. Any advise given will be greatly appreciated.
Q: My daughters mother moved to upstate New York just outside of PA and she left my daughter to stay here in the Bronx to live with her grandparents and she never consulted me or advised me of the move.
Q: I'm looking to apply for child support but I don't want the father to know any of my information such as where I work, my salary, etc. I am told all this info is on a worksheet given to both parents. Is there a way to not have the "father" given this information?
Q: My husband has a daughter with his ex who is 4 yrs old. The ex just got engaged. She knew the guy for a year and we believe he is now currently living with them. Sometimes the ex needs to work on the weekends. My husband found out that Saturday his ex new fiance watched their 4 yr old while she worked from the morning to afternoon. My husband is very upset because he said he doesnt want any man watching his daughter. But his ex defends it saying that he is going to be their daughters new step dad and it doesnt make sense to pay for a babysitter. My husband tells his ex he rather watch their daughter but they live almost 2 hrs away by train and my husband doesnt want to travel so early in the morning to pick her up and his ex doesnt want to travel so early in the morning to drop her off. My question is: can my husband prevent his ex new fiance from watching their daughter or does he need to learn to accept it?
