Can a school ask ur 11 year old about her dad?

Q: My daughter was ask to give a description about her dad for investigation.

A: It depends on the nature of the question & why they’re asking it. Schools & child welfare agencies are generally supposed to get the parents’ permission before asking private/invasive questions of a child. But if there’s an emergency situation such that they believe the child’s life/health is in grave danger, that may be an exception. Schedule a consult with a Bronx Child Abuse defense attorney for a full assessment.
