Q: ello I’ve been married since September been with him for 7 years lived together for 3 years.
A: David’s Answer: There are only certain limited grounds to annul a marriage – (a) being already married to another, (b) party under the age of consent, (c) party mentally incapacitated, (d) party physically incapacitated, or (e) consent to the marriage was by force, duress or fraud. Thus, the fact that your spouse turned out to be undesirable may be grounds for a divorce, but wouldn’t appear on those facts to create a basis to annul the marriage. That said, perhaps there’s more facts which can be reviewed by a lawyer to change the analysis.
